PN 2 Mount Perdido
Goriz refuge - Mount Perdido
Ascent to the highest peak in the National Park and third highest in the Pyrenees. Alpine route that climbs to the summit of Mount Perdido (3,348 m), a magnificent vantage point from which to view a large part of the National Park and many other peaks in the vicinity.
During the ascent, we shall be able to view various outcrops that will enable us to understand the tectonic structure of this limestone massif. An essential route for any mountaineer.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION
- Route: Goriz refuge - Mount Perdido (3,348 m)
- Type of Route: Linear (return along the same route).
- Difficulty level: Alpine
- Duration: 8 hours (round trip)

- Gradient: 1,100 metres ascent; 1,100 metres descent

- Comments Alpine route that climbs to the summit of Mount Perdido (3,348 m), high mountain route in which the usual precautions for this type of routes should be taken. This Geo-Route runs through the Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park, part of the transboundary site Pyrenees-Monte Perdido, declared World Heritage by UNESCO.At certain times of year it is restricted access by private vehicle to "La Pradera de Ordesa", having an alternative bus service.Information Point of the National Park in Torla.
